The Board of Directors is dedicated to improving lines of communication between the membership and the board. Since the BoD is spread across the country, the primary method of communication between board members is email. Board business is taken care of using a private email list, similar to the general membership email list. Monthly board minutes will be posted on the ACDCA.org website and on the membership list.
With that in mind, the board has set the following order of business to help conduct the monthly business in an orderly fashion.
1. All new motions be presented preferably by the 10th of the month. 2. Discussion on all items to continue through to the 15th of the month. 3. After the 15th discussion should be completed and then voting should take place from the 15th - 20th. 4. Any Motions coming forward after the 15th should (unless of a particularly urgent nature) be presented after the 20th to be included in the following months business.
If any member who wishes to make a motion, or have a motion, idea, or concept seen by the board should work with their regional director to see that that motion is brought to the BoD for consideration.
