Motion 1 by Lee Kephart: Move that the ACDCA assist The Bull Run Australian Cattle Dog Club by sponsoring an AKC sanction herding trial they are planning for June 28, 29, 2008 in Birdsboro PA. The Bull Run Australian Cattle Dog Club shall assume responsibility for all cost associated with the trial which includes but not limited to all operations and liability if any. The Trial will not be limited to Cattle Dogs and will involve cattle, sheep and ducks. Background: Bull Run is needing the ACDCA to sponsor this event since they are still in the process with AKC. This will be one trial per day with three stock types and considered two trials total for the weekend. We (Bull Run) are not holding a regional herding trial here in conjunction with nationals. This herding trial is a good opportunity to get the Bull Run Nationals crew working together prior to the big show - like a dress rehearsal. There are no current thoughts on this being more than a one time thing with ACDCA sponsorship.
